Normally I only make this necklace by private request however due to popular demand I have decided to make this necklace a permanent part of my line. This necklace is the one that Val Kilmer wears in the 1991 Oliver Stone film "The Doors". It is made with the highest quality Czech seed beads and nice c-lon tex bead cord for strength and ultimate durability. I use hand aged white seed beads (not the cheap bone beads) and a slightly dark red bead with black and green accents. This necklace is just over 27 inches in length just as the one in the movie and breaths quality and vintage vibe. Dare I say vintage magic. The necklace itself is secured with my signature knot, just as most hippie necklace's were in the late 60's. This is one necklace that deserves to be in any Doors fan collection.
I use the exact same size beads Henry Diltz used to make Jim Morrison's bead necklace in 1967 and have been doing so for 20 years. I have invested over 20 years of experience and research in making the Jim Morrison young lion necklace. Materials: C-Lon Tex 400 Cord. Break strength 75 lbs. (this is the strongest bead cord available). This interwoven cord is the most important part of the necklace and I refuse to use anything less than C-Lon Tex 400. As of right now I am the only maker of the Jim Morrison bead necklace in the world using this high quality beading cord and have been doing so for years. Czech glass seed beads: Each Czechoslovakian seed bead is hand selected for quality and uniformity and are the exact same size as the beads that Henry Diltz used for Jim Morrison's bead necklace.
