Bid Smart on eBay, when shopping for teak furniture you’ll come across many different grades of teak wood that breaks or warps in less than a year time while seller’s claim it is “ A” Grade.
Consider certain things before buying & avoid from getting “C” Grade or any other bad quality Teak.
The seller will claim “A” Grade and offer less than a year’s warranty.
Make sure the seller is from a reputed company with excellent feedbacks.
Please check the pictures carefully and see they are not lacquered with any oil or chemicals. The one with the chemicals will have unnatural darker look or stained look.
You can check the furniture with cleaning the surface of the teak wood with water soaked cloth. If you see colors or oil stains that means it is “C” Grade. This does not occur in Genuine Teak.
Grade A Teak has its own natural beauty with medium light natural color & s visible grain variations.
Chemically stained / treated furniture usually contains dark stains / color & uneven color variation due to application of chemical. This kind of chemically treated furniture will look nice in the beginning as top wood layers are treated to attract consumers but with in a very period of time you will notice its real quality which will results in breakage & makes it a bad investment.
Teak-Smith carry products that are genuine “A” Grade & not chemical stained / treated furniture. What you see in the pictures in our auction is what you get & no look "like" or "similar".

Our teak furniture do not need to be covered or stored every time it rains or snows.
Left outdoors, they will turn in to silverish grey which some people like it.
for those who prefer to keep color, can be maintained through applications of teak protector or sealer.

ASSEMBLY:
Very little assembly is required.
This furniture will be delivered in partially assembled sections. Assembly is quick and simple.
Follow the clear instructions and diagrams, most of our pieces can be put together in less than 15-20 minutes requiring no special tools.
