direction device, allows the air go through it from one side only, so it can
prevent the water go back into the air pump. When the air pump is placed above
the aquarium, no return valve is ok. When the air pump is placed lower than the
aquarium, you need return valves. Using the air pump according to your own
needs. Connect 2 air hoses to the air pump and use them in 1 fish tank. Connect
2 air hoses to the air pump and use them in 2 different fish tanks at the same
time. Use a T connector to connect two air hoses into one, and use them in one
fish tank. To get a larger air volume, you can also use a larger air stone.
