    Description

This flier, from Miss Annie Friedberg Management, is an order form/announcement of a program in Town Hall scheduled for February 19, 1933, by (Dame) Myra Hess, listed as the "Last Recital of this Season". (Not sure if she had been named a Dame at this point in time.)
It lists her program of Beethoven Bagatelles (various) and Sonata Op.110, and four Intermezzi and The Handel Variations by Brahms.
The ticket prices are listed, from .10 for the Balcony to .30 for Box Seats. (What a deal.)
The bottom portion of the flier is an order form for tickets. Lists credits for Duo-Art Records, Steinway Piano, and Columbia Records.
On a standard semi-gloss page 6" X 9.25"; it has been folded a couple of times, once in thirds, and again in quarters, but the creases show only minimally. Top right corner has been folded down, otherwise the corners are sharp, especially for a piece of paper that's eighty-eight years old. The reverse has two old pieces of tape in the top corners, no stickum left, which I didn't try to remove for fear of tearing the page.
Generally very good condition for this rare survivor of the Depression-Era New York music scene. The cost of a box seat, at .30, would have fed a family for a week.
