Description

These AED batteries were installed in school AEDs and then changed out recently on a schedule. They were never used to shock anyone, so they still have about 25% of their original life left in them. When they were new, they were originally designed to have 5 years shelf life when stored properly, and they were also designed to last 4+ years after installed in an AED, able to give up to 300 discharges/shocks (when they are brand new). Even when your machine FIRST registers that a battery is low, it is designed to still be able to deliver up to nine discharges/shocks.
BE CAREUL: If
you leave your AED mac
hine door open (which means that the machine is ON to do shocks), even a new battery can be totally drained and
used up in a day or two. A new battery can cost over 0.00!!
