    The definitive OC-5 octave pedal, which was completed by fusing BOSS's traditional octave sound with the latest tracking technology, has arrived.
    In VINTAGE mode, the sound of the famous monophonic octave pedal OC-2, which was born in 1982, is faithfully reproduced, and in POLY mode, stable performance is possible in a wider range.
    A new +1 octave sound has also been added, supporting a wide range of 3 octaves.
    This is a smart POLY mode that fully supports chord playing, which is a further evolution of the polyphonic octave that was first adopted in the OC-3 Super Octave.
    The RANGE knob allows you to specify the band to which the effect will be applied, so you can generate -1 octave sound for melody lines and chords as you wish.
    You can also set the RANGE knob to LOWEST to get an octave sound only in the lowest note of the chord.
    It is possible to obtain a +1 octave sound in both VINTAGE / POLY modes. Simulate the glittering sound of a 12-string guitar, add thickness to chords in combination with -1 octave sound, and even add a fat unison sound that adds +1 octave to increase the presence when playing solo. It is useful for various purposes.
    By switching the GUITAR / BASS switch on the pedal body, the tracking engine is optimized for each guitar / bass, and the best performance is achieved.
    In addition, the built-in DIRECT OUT jack makes it easy to output direct sound and effect sound separately to a mixer, audio interface, or two stage amplifiers.
