If you're an Allman Brothers fan, then check this out...it is surely an awesome, unique lot which won't be found anywhere else! You'll receive a scarce ticket stub to the ABB concert that took place at Jeppesen Stadium on June 30, 1974; The Eagles and Commander Cody were the opening acts. Besides that, you will also receive several one-of-a-kind documents from the Allman Brothers' management company files (Phil Walden & Associates) that are absolutely amazing!
Included in the lot are copies of two terrific letters, the first dated May 30, 1974 (from legendary music industry icon Alex Hodges, who was involved with booking the Houston show Concerts West. The second letter acknowledges the financial arrangement for the show; it is an AWESOME window into the live music industry at the time.
Next, you'll also get an inner office "Cash Pre-List" that documents, among other things, 8,750 received from Concerts West to book two Texas concerts, in Dallas (6/28/74, with Marshall Tucker, Molly Hatchet, and Joe Walsh as the openers) and Houston (6/30/74). It is stapled in front of a red and white Concerts West stub that was attached to that payment, which was for half of the total amount to be paid for the Texas shows. Finally, you'll also receive four typed "Concert Action Report" pages from May to July 1974 which have entries for both the Dallas and Houston stadium shows; these are fascinating, unique records which beautifully compliment this lot. The items in this lot show wear, as they have been stored for decades.
