Here is a rare allman brothers poster from interlockn .this was an incredible festival. in 2014 the allman brothers had announced this would be their final tour. interlockn had been a disaster in 2013( now refered to as gridlockn)..... in 2014 the allman brothers band, tom petty, phil lesh, willy nelson, wide spread panic, govt mule, bill kreutzmann and &the kids, steve windwood and many others would gather at a horse track in virginia for a 4 day musical feast. a poster was made for each day of the festival and the date was put into the poster as the horse's race number .the bands that played on that date are listed at the bottom of each poster. all 4 poster designs are different yet each has a race horse as the central figure. the festival was still called "interlockn" as well as "lockn" and used an infinity sign as its logo. i went to all four days of the historic event. kirk west was there at a booth selling his photos and book. the allman brothers played the entire fillmore east album plus blue sky and a few others. brain farmer had just died and the band members all wore identical t shirts with his picture on it.. this is a rare poster and it comes in a custom frame. it is perfect mint, no issues. this was the last allman brothers concert before the final 6 beacon shows in October. their are 3 others posters to collect from this show. this is the only one i wanted because it is the only one that has the allman brothers listed. i bought 2 and will only sell one. this comes in a custom 12x24 frame. no glue no tape, plexiglass frame. poster comes out of frame unharmed in 45 secs. out of dougs allman cave, ships to lower 48 states only. this hung in my allman brothers band museum, thank you to the band we loved. i miss them. please go see the allman betts band in 2021 and buy their new album. we need to keep the music going! doug mckee an allman brothers band member wannabe.
