Below are rare and unique items from my
Personal Collection. I
am not a reseller
, these items are from my PERSONAL collection
from my many years of collecting. I'm looking for a new home since I collect everything and some items just need to find a new home that will cherish the items like I did, I will pack these items, ship them to you as if I was purchasing them myself, the best packing, you can count on that.
Most of my listings are a one of a kind set. Most items are very rare. What's included in this eBay posting:
A) Rare one of a kind item from an historic night. It was December 16, 1981 and John Scher was putting a 10 year celebration of his Capitol Theatre in Passaic New Jersey with a lot of old friends and The Allman Brothers Band was the head liners. Everything is guaranteed original, GUARANTEED. This is my ticket stub and my photos. The negatives have sadly given away to time and no longer exist. These are the last evidence I have from the historic evening. The Ticket stub is mine and the program in the frame is original from that evening.
You have the outside of the Capitol (since torn down) and two pictures of Gregg )one on guitar and the other on Organ. Dickey Betts and the others are Dave Edmunds, Edgar Winter and Gary US bonds. The custom matt with all the cut outs cost over 5.00 30 ++ years ago. The frame measures 21 inches X 11 Inches. and is behind glass.
B) I am also providing the actual program from the evening I would say its in Very good ++ condition. It list all the shows from 1971 through 1981, There are great pictures of Bruce Springsteen, Southside Johnny, Linda Ronstadt, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Frank Zappa, Tom Petty Styx, Ted Nugent, Kenny Loggins, and lastly Gregg Allman, John Belushi and Dicky Betts. On the back cover an advertisement for the Allman Brothers LP - Brothers of the road.
C) Lastly I will also include the New Jersey paper the Aquarian from December 1976 that extensively talks about the Capitol Theatre's 5 th anniversary. It list the first 5 years at the Capitol as well as Asbury Park, as well as Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey city. It's very fragile but sill very readable. ( Old but no major issues - some pen writing on the last/back page).
Again, these items are from my
Personal Collection
and all items are from a smoke free environment. I have been a collector of historical, fun, and unique items that I have picked up in my travels, antique markets & shows, and events over the course of many decades. I do not pretend to be an expert in any one area but have tried to describe and photograph the item(s) to the best of my ability. If the description or images do not satisfy your questions please reach out to me to get a clearer understanding of the item(s) or package. Please note: The images/pictures also note the condition if not specifically called out in the write up. I am
very detailed in my listings
concerning condition, but sometimes my eyes miss something. I have been a member of eBay for about 20 years and have always strive to be upfront, clear and honest on all my listings (no negative feedback going back to 1999). Please also check-out my other listings that are diverse but may be related to what you are viewing.
Note: I only ship an average of two times a week, so I am thanking you in advance for your patience. You can rest assured I will pack the items with the utmost care since again,
I am NOT a reseller,
these are my personal items that I cherished and are happy they will be finding a new home and will be appreciated as much as I appreciated them.
Important note:
The listed shipping price/cost includes the cost of actual shipping,
insurance
and packing materials. The cost for shipping
and
their insurance has gotten just crazy, I have no control over these costs. I am sorry, but the Postal system has just gone crazy with their rates. Again, thank you for looking and don't forget to check out my other items for sale. Thank you again!
