VINTAGE MORGAN DENNIS COLLIE PRINT
Lovely vintage Collie print which was carefully removed from a 1946 book.
The page measures approximately 8.5 by 11 inches (field is about 6 by 8 inches).
You are purchasing the original book page, not a copy.  It is in fair to good condition, note creasing on the border and quite a bit of impressions on the bottom border below the print.
The reverse side has another print.
Morgan Dennis
was an American illustrator and author known primarily for his paintings of dogs.
He began his career as an author/illustrator with a special aptitude for portraying dogs.
Perhaps his biggest success was his creation for Dewar’s of the "Black and White Scotties"
commissioned and used as advertising by the Black and White Scotch Whiskey Company.
The print will be carefully packaged in a plastic sleeve and shipped between protective cardboard.
