    Description

    Offered here is an original 6" long translucent amber catalin swizzle stick/ muddler advertising the Stratosphere, 800 feet above Chicago, Illinois. Excellent condition.  Opened in 1937, the Stratosphere, on top of the Jewelers' building was the city's highest restaurant. The restaurant/ club occupied the top four floors of the Jewelers' Building, the dome at top being the cocktail lounge.
